ALBUM COVER ARTWORK
In 2017 I was asked to create the album cover and booklet for Tommy Finke, "Ein Herz für Anarchie" (A Heart for Anarchy). My basic idea from the beginning was to distance myself from the classic booklet and to generate something with added value. However, special solutions are relatively expensive, which is often a reason for young artists to go with something traditional. It has to be said that this album mainly financed by crowd-funding. So I decided to create within the usual patterns, but to expand them completely. So I was able to put a "booklet" in the jewel case, which is actually close to a poster. A 16-page folder is the result within the scope of possibilities. The panorama tells a story that can be hung on the fridge, above the desk or in the hallway - a real added value, in my opinion, that replaces the classic booklet and frees it permanently from the jewel case so that it doesn't have to languish on the shelf.
The artwork was processed in Photoshop with an Intuos pro Tablet by Wacom.
